Catch22 has partnered with City & Guilds Foundation to launch a new programme, Green Spark. This bursary programme will support people facing barriers into employment to develop the skills, confidence and the knowledge needed to find work in the green energy industry.
The course will support participants to gain industry-standard knowledge that will lead to a qualification in Domestic Electrical Skills, as well as the opportunity to participate in other qualifications such as Domestic Electrical Vehicle Charging Point Installation and Solar Panel Installation. They will also be provided with one-to-one coaching for confidence, motivation, CV and interview skills. The programme will also include access to bursary support for tailored training, something our recent green skills report identified as key for ensuring green jobs are accessible to people facing barriers to employment.

Green Spark will be delivered in partnership with TradeSkills4U and City & Guilds Foundation. TradeSkills4U will help to provide course material, whilst City & Guilds Foundation will be the bursary provider.

The programme is aimed at people aged 18+ who are based in Gatwick, Redhill, Brighton, Worthing and Guildford.
